Scott River Watershed Council Projects

Water, Beaver & Fish

SRWC is committed to one of life’s most essential elements, water. Since 2014, SRWC has implemented a variety of different restoration techniques aimed at improving water quality and quantity, for both surface and groundwater. We prefer to partner with both humans and rodents alike!

Mountain Meadows & Forested Lands

With an increase in fire severity due to fire suppression, past land management practices, and climate change, SRWC is inspired to work with regional partners to bring innovative projects using prescribed fire, carbonator Biochar and other large fuel reduction fire breaks to reduce the risk of catastrophic wildlife.

Education, Outreach & Design

Foundational to our mission, working with youth and college students through a variety of different programs. Another area of focus for the Council is working with other professionals to complete design options and analysis for future restoration of Scott River watershed projects. Our commitment to these tasks is foundational.
