Membership

Like everything in today’s world, the pressures from places far beyond the beautiful mountains that surround Scott Valley, play a part in our daily lives. As you know, the issues surrounding water have steadily been increasing and the forecast for the future does not predict a change of direction. It is for that reason, that local community involvement is so important. The Scott River Watershed Council is looking to increase our membership. It is important to collectively understand and control OUR OWN resources and YOUR involvement is a key factor in that success. With your membership, you will receive notice of upcoming meetings, agenda notices, and notes from meetings, pertinent watershed information – all important items so you can stay informed and help make a difference.
