Committees
The Board of Directors may establish, through resolution, the formation of any committee, including but not limited to standing and/or ad hoc committees, working, technical and/or advisory committees, board or non board committees and/or an Executive Committee.
Before a committee is formed, appointed and/or selected, a clear, defined and written purpose must be stated and agreed upon by the Board. Such resolutions must name the committee, state its powers, authority and delegated duties, elect a Chair, provide a list of names and contact information of committee members and specify methods/frequency in which the committee will report to Board of Directors.
Appointments of Committee members, including Chair, shall be appointed for a period no more than two years. A complete and current record of all active committees along with a roster of committee’s members shall be kept by the Board of Director’s Secretary and/or Council Coordinator. Each committee will be required to keep minutes of any meetings and will be asked to fill out an activities report and submit both to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis.
